Thanks for taking the time to check us out! Here at Tilley’s we’ve always felt it was important to contribute positively to the community, and we hope to continue our efforts through this blog. We’ll be updating this site on a regular basis with fun posts about local food, events, and environmental news. We’ve decided to place such a heavy emphasis on local food and sound environmental practices because we believe whole-heartedly in sustainable practices. At our restaurant we have implemented an aggressive recycling and composting program that is redirecting up to 46% of our solid waste from landfills. We are a partner with the Vermont Fresh Network and strive to serve as much local food as possible. We strive to make all aspects of our business green from our lightbulbs to biodegradable packaging supplies to giving discarded cooking oil to be turned into biofuel.
