Take A Free Tour Of The Black Gum Swamps
The Vermont Woodlands Association is offering you the chance to take a free guided tour of the Black Gum Swamps in the J. Maynard Miller Memorial Town Forest in Vernon, VT. This tour is part of the Walk In The Woods series.The tour is being offered Thursday, July 16, at 5:30.
The trail is an easy one to walk, and you’ll have the chance to see some rare species and trees that are 400 years old. The woods themselves are wonderfully atmospheric, and really shine in the late evening.
